SiteSell Announces Search It!
SiteSell Announces Launch of Search It!
Montreal, Quebec, Canada
SiteSell.com announced today the launch of Search It!, a free
tool that solves a universal-problem.
"You've heard of information overload, of course?" asks SiteSell's
President, Ken Evoy. "Well, no one is talking about info-search overload."
Search It! began due to an experience of Dr. Evoy, one that many business Net surfers suffer. He wanted to organize his advanced searches in a more efficient way. That began as a bunch of special-search bookmarks -- but this became unwieldy.
Next, he turned his ever-growing bookmark collection into a set of pre-programmed advanced searches ("the perk of being CEO"). Now he found himself doing searches that he would usually forego, being too busy to "figure out how to do them all over again."
Soon, though, he had collected so many (over 50 unique, advanced, business-related searches), that he couldn't remember what some were supposed to be used for! As the soon-to-be 51 year old says...
"Don't laugh... it will happen to you, too, one day! Managing this Top 300 Alexa company takes every ounce of my brain. And there aren't many ounces left."
Next came the ability to add help notes to jog his memory. There certainly do seem to be certain perks that come with being CEO.
And then came that "Eureka" moment.
He realized that he could not be alone. This not-so-little tool was so useful, that his tiny all-in-one search window was open all day long, in the top left corner of his monitor. He was using it at least 10 times per day, often MUCH more.
"When you hear about a hot new site, you want to penetrate the hype and get to the bottom line. I could give you 1,000 examples of how Search It! can be used -- brainstorming, competitive intelligence, keyword and penetrating site research -- it's endless. The Net is the most amazing collection of information in the history of the world. If you're not tapping into it intelligently beyond entering your 'average 2.6 words' into Yahoo! or Google, you're missing out."
And that is when he decided to release this tool for public use. SiteSell has even added a brief tutorial for each Search Type (73 Search Types divided among 17 Search Categories, tightly presented in a tiny browser window).
"Beta-testers have been over the top excited about Search It!," claims Dr. Evoy. Of course, this free release is not pure altruism. "Yes, we are hoping this tool exposes Webmasters and small business people to various facets of Site Build It!."
Site Build It! (SBI!) includes site-building, site-hosting, and site-marketing tools that enable small businesses of all kinds to execute a process that SiteSell calls "Content - Traffic - PREsell - Monetize."
It is this "C-T-P-M" process and the all-in-one approach that have generated a rabid following for the company. Small business people have used the SBI! product to build high volumes of what they call "PREsold" traffic. Users then convert that traffic into a wide variety of monetization models, from Google AdWords and affiliate programs, to e-stores to service-selling, and even local businesses such as dentistry.
